The Golden Standard

Experience the ancient, skin-loving art of body sugaring for hair removal that leaves your skin remarkably smooth, touchable, and radiant. Unlike traditional waxing, sugaring uses an all-natural paste (sugar, water, and lemon) applied at body temperature, adhering exclusively to dead skin cells and unwanted hair rather than live skin tissue. This process drastically reduces discomfort and post-treatment irritation.

What I do differently

Natural Formula. Using a pure, food-grade paste made strictly from sugar, lemon, and water—completely free of chemical additives, resins, or artificial fragrances.

Gentle Technique. Meticulously applied by hand and removed in the natural direction of hair growth, minimizing hair breakage, skin pulling, and stubborn ingrown hairs.

Skin Health. Acting as both hair removal and gentle exfoliation, leaving your skin deeply conditioned, smooth, and glowing with zero harsh chemical residue or sticky aftermath.

Body Sugaring FAQ

What is body sugaring? Body sugaring is an ancient, natural hair removal method using a paste made of simple, food-grade ingredients: sugar, lemon juice, and water. Unlike traditional waxing, the sugar paste is applied against the hair growth and flicked off in the natural direction of growth. This means less breakage, fewer ingrown hairs, and significantly less irritation.

Does it hurt? Like any hair removal, there is some sensation, but most clients find it much more tolerable than traditional wax. Because sugar paste only adheres to dead skin cells and hair (never live skin tissue) it doesn't pull or tear at the skin, making it remarkably gentler. Over time, hair grows back finer and sparser.

How long does my hair need to be? For the best results, your hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (roughly 1/4 of an inch, or about 2 weeks of growth if you've been shaving). If it's too short, the paste can't grab it properly; if it's too long, it can make the process a bit more tender.

How should I prep for my appointment? Exfoliate gently 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to clear away dead skin cells. On the day of your session, come with clean, dry skin—skip any heavy lotions, oils, or deodorants in the area being treated. Refer to our Studio Guide for more information about prep and aftercare.

What is the post-care routine? For the first 24 to 48 hours, keep things calm: avoid heavy sweating, hot tubs, saunas, swimming pools, tight synthetic clothing, and scented lotions. Once those initial 24 hours have passed, resume gentle daily hydration and regular exfoliation (using a scrub or exfoliating mitt) starting 3 days post-appointment to keep ingrown hairs completely at bay.

How long between appointments? It varies depending however most clients schedule maintanence appointments every 3 to 5 weeks. Sticking to this schedule ensures you catch hairs in the right growth cycle, leading to smoother skin for longer and progressively thinner hair growth over time.
